My most liked pictures on Instagram in 2020

It’s that time of the year my dears πŸ₯° I’ve put together this top and a few words on each image. Hope this will inspire you and also me to be better and be more creative next year.

Cheers to a better 2021! πŸ₯‚

My best of 2020 (which is actually concentrated in November / December, scroll down and see πŸ˜…)
What can I say, it was a good end of year from this point of view.
I’ve learned some valuable lessons this year, may sound like a clichΓ©, but hear me out:

β€’ Give yourself time. It’s okay not to do stuff non-stop. Even if the break seems a bit long, take that time and truly rest your mind.
β€’ Stop setting unrealistic goals for yourself.
β€’ Get out of that comfort zone. At least photography related, I promise you, nothing can go wrong. If you dare to think about it, I believe you can achieve it πŸ₯°
β€’ Stop comparing yourself to strangers on the internet. We all have a different background and approach to life. Focus on the journey, not on the destination (damn, this sounds too sweet even for me πŸ˜… but I don’t see a better way to say it without being cheesy).
β€’ People talk shit, don’t let them get to you. Surround yourself with kindness and positivity.

I added the collage above as a t-shirt design and it looks pretty cool, check it out here.

Now have a closer look on each image. There are details like date posted, approximate number of likes, camera info aaaaaaand a print link if you wish to have these images on your wall πŸ₯°

To be honest, this photo session motivated me a lot in the last part of the year. It marked the beginning of something beautiful.
I took it during a short road trip in Neamt County, near Durau πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄
I love the fine line between autumn and winter here.

This photo got way more likes than the others because I promoted it for a few days (not much money, and used the Instagram generated audience, just to see what happens).

Picture taken with my camera and lights added afterwards in Procreate.
My all time most relaxing activity to do, idk why I kind of ignore it lately (but as I said in the beginning, I’m taking my time, better times will come).
I am also proud of the focus here.

This picture was also promoted (in the same circumstances as the previous one).

The first walk in the nature with my new camera and lens. I was like a little child discovering everything in that day πŸ˜…
I’m in love with the overall tone of this one and proud of not ruining the focus.

Photo taken the same weekend as the first one. Nature was giving a lot in that day ☺️ I constantly search for foggy places to shoot and this one was exactly what I needed.

Close-up nose of Aurel, my beloved nephew. Check out the Instagram page created for him, it’s hilarious. The good thing about having a deaf cat around is that you can take really close pictures when they’re sleeping.
He’s 5 years old but still has a baby nose 😻

Another subject that I’m super interested in: droplets. But the star here is the mushroom.
Really want to take a perfect picture of droplets in 2021.

Randomly took this picture with my phone because it was raining and didn’t have where to switch my lens. If you zoom in you can see that the texture is not ideal, but I like it overall.

I think this is underrated πŸ₯ΊIt’s not perfect, the focus could’ve been a lot better, but overall it’s a beautiful picture and the subject is simply stunning.

So this was it for this year. Looking forward to create a new post like this in 2021. Can’t wait to see what next year brings ❀️
